Privacy Policy

TL;DR
NotchPrompter does not collect, store, transmit, or process any data — period. No personal data, no anonymous data, no analytics, no telemetry. The app runs entirely on your device and never communicates with any server.
Data Collection
NotchPrompter collects zero data. This includes but is not limited to:
- No personal information (name, email, IP address, etc.)
- No usage or behavioral analytics
- No anonymous or pseudonymous data
- No crash reports or diagnostics
- No cookies, fingerprints, or tracking identifiers
Network Communication
NotchPrompter makes no network requests of any kind. The application operates completely offline and does not connect to any server, API, or third-party service. Your text and settings never leave your Mac.
Data Processing
No data is processed, analyzed, shared, or sold — because no data is collected in the first place. Everything you type into NotchPrompter stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
Microphone Access
NotchPrompter may request access to your microphone for the voice-activated scrolling feature. Audio is processed entirely on-device in real time and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. You can use the app without granting microphone access — voice activation simply won't be available.
Third-Party Services
NotchPrompter does not integrate with, embed, or communicate with any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics platforms.
Open Source
NotchPrompter is fully open-source under the MIT License. You can inspect the entire source code on GitHub to verify these claims yourself.
Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy is ever updated, the changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Given that no data is collected, significant changes are unlikely.
